Mount Bromo Ijen Crater Kalibaru Tour | Kalibaru is a name of district in Banyuwangi and It is situated in elevation of 428 meters above sea level. It has weather between 20-28 degree celcius. And It is surrounded by some mountains. They are Mount Gending, Mount Gumitir, Mount Raung, moun Menyan and Mount Terong. Detail Itinerary:
Day 1. Surabaya/Malang – Hotel in Bromo
- The tour will pick up team ijen travel guide starts from Surabaya or Malang or Banyuwangi (airport,hotel,station) heading towards hotel in Bromo area, It takes 3-4 hours driving from Surabaya.
- Arrived at Hotel. check in and rest.
Day 2. Bromo Sunrise – Bromo tour – Hotel in Ijen
- At 03.00 a.m your driver will get you up and prepare to go to Mount Penanjakan 1 to see sunrise. Jeep vehicle will take you across sea of sand towards Penanjakan 1 with duration about 1 hour. Penanjakan 1 is the highest spot in Bromo to see sunrise. You would see Tengger Caldera including, Mt Bromo, Mt Batok, Savanna and you would also see Mt Semeru, the highest mountain in Java Island.
- After enough enjoying view, the Tour continues to Bromo crater, sea of sand and Savanna. To go to Bromo crater, you can rent a horse parking area, or you can walk to the crater. After enjoying the Tour, go back to hotel for breakfast and packing for preparation to go Hotel in Ijen.
- Then check out hotel and proceed the journey to Sempol Village, the closest area from Mount Ijen, in Bondowoso. The journey will take 4-5 hours. Arrived in hotel, check in and free program.
Day 3 : Paltuding Post – Ijen Crater – Kalibaru Plantation
- At 01.00 a.m our driver will wake you up and drive to the Paltuding post (Paltuding is the initial location of climbing to the top of ijen). When arrived there, walk or climb to the summit about 2 hours and enjoy the beauty of Ijen Crater and blue fire.
- After satisfied enjoying the scenery and activities of sulfur miners, then back down to the Paltuding post and Hotel.
- After exploring the beautiful Ijen, your driver will take you to Kalibaru through the clove plantation. The distance from Ijen area to the Kalibaru Highland is within 2 to 3 hours. Have a lunch at local restaurant during the trip. After that check in cottage in Kalibaru and free program.
Day 4 : Kalibaru Plantation tour – Drop Off
- After breakfast, we continued our tour to Kalibaru Plantation (see processing coffee, rubber, chocolate). This factory is the largest Dutch plantation located in the eastern part of Java. You could also travel with “Lori Tour”. Lori tours is a tour attractions of historical and educational in Banyuwangi. By using this lori train, Tourists can enjoy the beautiful nature and aroma typical of coffee and chocolate plantations. Not only that, tourists will also cross the long tunnel Dutch relics.
- After that go back to hotel around 11-12 a.m and Leave hotel to Ketapang Harbor, or return to Surabaya. Then the Mount Bromo Ijen Crater Kalibaru Tour is complete.
